Jan 20, 2026 – The 21st Dubai Spring Textile & Bag Fair (IATF), set to run from May 18-20, 2026, is expected to drive regional textile bag exports and facilitate global trade connections, organizers announced. The event will host 750+ exhibitors from 32 countries, including textile bag manufacturers from Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Key highlights include a dedicated “Sustainable Textile Bags Pavilion,” showcasing products made from recycled cotton, organic hemp, and biodegradable fibers. Major Middle Eastern retailers—such as Carrefour UAE and Lulu Hypermarket—will attend to source new textile bag lines, with projected procurement volumes exceeding USD 500 million.
The Middle East textile bag market is growing rapidly, with 2025 exports reaching USD 2.1 billion (up 7.8% YoY). Saudi Arabia and the UAE are the region’s top exporters, with demand focusing on woven shopping bags and premium textile travel bags. Industry insiders note the trade show will help Middle Eastern manufacturers expand into African and European markets.
